Welcome to Woodcroft Primary School

Welcome to our Woodcroft Primary School website. I hope that you find the information here useful and it gives you an insight into the values that we have in our learning at Woodcroft.

Woodcroft Vision

Our vision is to: inspire pupil aspirations; encourage children’s curiosity; and remove barriers for all to achieve.

We are a dedicated and committed staff who work tirelessly to improve the learning opportunities and life experiences of our children. Inspiring individuals through a ‘broad and balanced’ curriculum that develops our pupils’ understanding of the wider world. Utilising unique experiences and learning hooks, we encourage pupils to use their curiosity and independent thought to discover interests and knowledge. If you have never been to a beach, how can you write a poem about a beach?

Our children have a strong sense of belonging and community, however they are taught to be themselves and respect each other’s differences. Our core values that underpin Woodcroft’s vision and ethos are: Respect; Boundaries; Self-regulation; Focus; Resilience and Independence. Pupils at Woodcroft are actively encouraged to demonstrate these values through all of their achievements, both in school and the wider community. Staff have limitless ambitions for Woodcroft pupils and work closely with families to remove educational barriers whilst supporting children to succeed.

This brief introduction can only give you a flavour of who we are at Woodcroft Primary School. If you would like any further information or would like to visit the school then please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
