We have a Breakfast Club that is run by LSAs in the hall from 8.15am – 8.40am. It costs 20p per day and the children can have a piece of toast and a drink. There is no need to book, it is a pay as you go club. There is also a free Craft Club.

The playground is unsupervised until 8:30am. Mr Fanning and Mrs Pink (or a member of the Leadership Team) are on the playground from 8:30am. Please do not let your child arrive earlier than 8:30am if they are not attending Breakfast Club, as we cannot supervise until this time.

Children go straight to their classroom at 8:40am to start their school day. All children need to be in school by 8:50am. Any child that arrives after 8:50am but before 9:00am will be marked late, and must be signed in at the school office. Any child arriving after 9:00am will be marked as an unauthorised absence. Our Home School Link Worker monitors all unauthorised and late absences and actions are taken.

Break time is between 10:30am and 10:45am. We have 2 Key Stage playgrounds, Key Stage 1 is at the back of the school and Key Stage 2 is at the front. Key Stage 2 also have access to the ball court.

Lunchtimes are between 12:00pm and 12:50pm for Key Stage 1 and 12:00pm and 12:55pm for Key Stage 2. Key Stage 1 is at the back of the school and Key Stage 2 is at the front. Key Stage 2 also have access to the ball court. There is also an ICT and Colouring Club that is run every day from 12:30pm. Children sign up for these clubs at lunchtime for that day.

There is an assembly every Monday at 9.00am and is a whole school assembly, with the focus being one of our school values. All other assemblies are in the afternoons: Tuesday and Thursday are Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 class assemblies and Wednesday is the whole School Singing assembly. Friday is our Celebration assembly.

The end of the school day is 3:15pm. Children can sign up on a half termly basis for after school clubs that range from Football, Construction, Karate, Dance and Singing.

Informing the school that your child is ill.

If your child is unwell and not able to attend school, you must phone the school office as soon as possible. The office is manned from 8:15am, and there is an answer machine that is checked throughout the day. Please let a member of staff know why your child is not attending school. If we have not heard from you by 9:00am, our Home School Link Worker will contact you by either phone or text message as why your child is not in school.

If your child becomes unwell during the school day, a member of the school office will contact you. We therefore respectfully ask that you keep your contact details up to date with the office.

If you are unsure if your child needs to stay home and not attend school, please phone the school office where a member of staff can advise you.
